A specialty micro-roastery, bakery, and café on Kyprou in Peristeri. Single-origin coffees roasted on-site, house-made pastries, and an approach to sourcing that earns the trip west of the centre.

Peristeri is not where most visitors to Athens go looking for specialty coffee. That is exactly the point. Omsom opened on Kyprou as a roastery first, café second — a small operation that sources, roasts, and serves its own coffee in a space designed around the work rather than the aesthetic.

The coffee programme is single-origin and seasonal: the team selects lots from specific farms and regions, roasts in small batches on-site, and offers both espresso and filter methods. The selection rotates as harvests change. Alongside the coffee, the kitchen produces house-made pastries and a short menu of snacks.

Direct trade, small batches, and a pour-over counter where the origin is the point.

The clientele is neighbourhood-based and loyal. The space is calm and unpretentious. For the coffee-oriented visitor willing to go twenty minutes west of the centre, Omsom is worth it.
