"Eleven rooms around a courtyard — the quiet interior of Ermou."
Ergon House Ermou is the second property from the Ergon Foods team, opened in 2026 in a neoclassical building at Ermou 98 — near the intersection with Artemidos, on the quieter western stretch of Athens’ main pedestrian street. Eleven rooms are arranged around a central courtyard, the calm interior away from the street. The architecture follows the vocabulary of the original Ergon House on Mitropoleos: high ceilings, hand-finished surfaces, the kind of detail that reads as craft rather than decoration.
Taverna Ermou operates on the ground floor, serving food in the tradition of the Athenian taverna — honest ingredients, familiar recipes, unhurried service. An Ergon Originals store is also in the building, stocking the brand’s range of Greek food products. Breakfast is included and served à la carte from the Ergon pantry. The Monastiraki metro station is a short walk east, connecting directly to the airport.
The location puts guests at the edge of three neighbourhoods simultaneously: Psyrri to the north, Thissio to the south-west, Monastiraki-Plaka behind. Ermou is at its liveliest at midday and again in the evening — the hotel sits far enough west that the tourist density thins noticeably, while everything remains within a ten-minute walk.
