Emerald occupies a restored neoclassical building on Perikleous Street, midway between Syntagma Square and Monastiraki. Five suites — Aide, Gaia, Meleti, Mneme, and the duplex Emerald — fill a building whose arched doorways and plaster ceiling details have been preserved alongside modern comforts. The duplex suite adds a terrace with an outdoor bath. Next door: Yphes restaurant.

Emerald is a five-suite hotel on Perikleous Street, on the stretch of the historic centre that sits halfway between Syntagma and Monastiraki. The building is a restored neoclassical — arched doorways, ornate plaster ceiling decorations, a neoclassical facade on a corner plot — with modern interiors slotted carefully inside the original structure.
The five suites each have names: Aide, Gaia, Meleti, Mneme, and the duplex Emerald Suite on its own floor with a private terrace and outdoor bath. All are configured for two guests only. Rooms come with Nespresso, minibar, satellite TV, bathrobes and slippers, and Frederic Malle bath products.
Attached is Yphes restaurant, which serves as the hotel's culinary counterpart. The location is genuinely central: Monastiraki flea market, the Acropolis, and the shopping of Ermou Street are all within ten minutes on foot — without requiring the tourist-facing streets to get there.
