Neiheiser Argyros is a multidisciplinary architecture practice with offices in London and Athens, founded in 2015 by Ryan Neiheiser and Xristina Argyros. The practice operates at multiple scales simultaneously — buildings, masterplans, interiors, landscapes, exhibitions, furniture — and describes its approach as committed to both playful experimentation and serious research. Projects are in Europe and the United States.

Ryan Neiheiser is originally from Cleveland, Ohio. He studied engineering and art at Swarthmore College and received his Masters from the Princeton University School of Architecture in 2008. Before founding the practice he lived and worked in Rotterdam, Brussels, and New York. Xristina Argyros studied architecture in Greece and received her Masters from the Yale School of Architecture in 2013 as a Fulbright scholar.
Their Athens-connected portfolio includes the Art1 Office — a full renovation of a 40-year-old six-storey concrete office building in Marousi, covered by Dezeen in 2022 — and the Astir Marina Landscape and Public Realm project on the Riviera. Residential projects across the Greek islands include Grid House, a stripped-back 1970s modernist home on Euboea.
In 2025 Neiheiser Argyros completed Aigli Zappeiou in collaboration with Athens-based Esé Studio — the most visible architectural project in Athens that year. The commission involved the complete renovation of a 1904 café in the National Gardens, adjacent to the Zappeion Hall, across 3,200 square metres of interior space. The design language the two practices developed — ornamental minimalism — held classical elements in tension with contemporary restraint: a 20-metre green Tinos marble bar in the All-Day Café, a red-and-white patterned marble floor mirrored in a contemporary wood-inlay ceiling in the Restaurant, terraces opening the previously inward-looking building to the National Gardens.
