Kerameikos
Focu Sauvage.
The permanent home of Nomade et Sauvage — everything cooked over fire.
Focu Sauvage opened in June 2026 in a 1930s stone building in Kerameikos, where the Nomade et Sauvage team settled after years of nomadic pop-ups. Everything is cooked over fire — meats, fish, vegetables, legumes, wild foods — in wood-fired ovens or over open flames. Bar by Michalis Stelio; Greek wines at sensible prices.
Focu Sauvage is the permanent address of Nomade et Sauvage — the team of Iordanis Tseneklidis and Panagiotis Siafakas, who spent eight years cooking over open fire at temporary locations across Greece, from forests and riversides to vineyards and mountain summits. They settled in June 2026 at Megalou Vasiliou 52, a 1930s stone building in Kerameikos. Everything here is cooked over fire: wood-fired ovens, open flames, glowing charcoal.
The sourcing is Greek and seasonal: meats, fish, vegetables, legumes, and foraged wild foods, treated with the directness that fire demands. The cocktail programme is by Michalis Stelio. The wine list leans toward Greek natural and low-intervention producers. Prices are fair for the standard of cooking.
Everything over fire. The Nomade et Sauvage team, finally in one place.
Kerameikos has become the consistent landing point for kitchens that operate outside the mainstream — enough space, sensible rents, and just enough foot traffic to support serious cooking. “Focu” is a word for fire in several Mediterranean languages. The name is not subtle.
