The Roc Club.

Grecotel’s first Athens Riviera sanctuary — 34 rooms above the Saronic Gulf.

The Roc Club opened in May 2024 on the beachfront at Vouliagmeni — Grecotel’s first Sanctuary property on the Athens Riviera. Thirty-four rooms and suites sit directly above the Saronic Gulf, twenty kilometres from the city centre. The scale is deliberately intimate; the position, on a private stretch of coastline between Vouliagmeni’s pine hills and the sea, is exceptional.

"Grecotel’s first Sanctuary on the Athens Riviera: thirty-four rooms above the Saronic Gulf, twenty minutes from the city."

The Roc Club sits on a private strip of Vouliagmeni coastline at the southern tip of the Athens Riviera, where pine-covered hills meet the Saronic Gulf. Grecotel’s Sanctuary tier — their smallest and most considered category — opened its first Athens Riviera property here in May 2024. Thirty-four rooms and suites, all facing the water.

Each room opens toward the sea. Interiors are contemporary without effort: natural stone, bleached timber, linens calibrated to the afternoon light. Two pools, one salt water. A beach club with direct water access. The kitchen draws on the Saronic’s daily catch and seasonal produce — straightforward, precise, good.

Vouliagmeni has long been Athens’s coast of choice: the lake, the marina, the cluster of restaurants along the seafront. The Roc Club is twenty minutes from the city by the coastal road — close enough for a late dinner in town, far enough to feel removed from it. A useful calculation on either end of a stay.
