Koukaki

ERE Athens.

A space for the curious and the aesthetically restless

ERE Athens is a concept store and café in Koukaki where homeware, accessories, apothecary and locally made artisan goods sit alongside freshly made pastries and specialty coffee. Founded by a designer and a pastry chef, it is curated for those who let curiosity lead.

Erechthiou is a quiet residential street in Koukaki, a few minutes' walk from the Acropolis Museum and the base of Filopappou hill. ERE Athens opened here with a clear proposition: a small boutique hotel that prioritises material quality over lobby spectacle.

The rooms are designed around local craft — natural stone, hand-thrown ceramics, linens sourced from Greek mills. The palette borrows from the surrounding landscape: dusty limestone, olive, the ochre of Athenian clay roof tiles. No two rooms are identical.

Eight minutes from the Acropolis Museum. The Filopappou path starts at the end of the street.

The Acropolis Museum is an eight-minute walk. Koukaki's restaurants and natural wine bars are within a block in either direction. The Filopappou path — which leads to open views of the city and the Parthenon — begins at the end of the street.
