Olive Era is a Greek skincare and care brand built around one ingredient: Greek bio olive oil, used the way the Cretans have used it for three thousand years — for the skin, the hair, the body, the air in a room. Founded by Androklis Terzakis. The first physical store opened in 2021 on Perikleous, the same year a second counter went into the duty-free at Athens International. The headquarters sit a few kilometres north in Neo Psychiko, where the formulations are made.
Bio olive oil. Amber bottles. Taupe labels. The apothecary that knows exactly what it is.
The branding is by Aris Goumpouros — taupe paper, gold typography, amber bottles, ink illustrations that look like they've been weathered out of an archaeological site. The Athens Spirit edition turns the city's classical iconography into pharmacy labels. Other lines: a Kids series, Caviar Elixirs, sun care, hair, hotel amenities supplied to half the boutique hotels in the country.
Take home the Athens Spirit body oil or the kefalonian sage hand cream. The candle is the one most people regret not buying. Open Monday to Saturday, closed Sunday. A second Athens story to the Naxos Apothecary's first — different ingredient, same Greek instinct.
