Dry martinis are the house move; the chips are famously good.
Kipseli is one of Athens' most interesting neighbourhoods right now — immigrant-owned bakeries, natural wine bars, old men playing backgammon on the square — and Argentina fits into that without trying too hard. Weekends draw a crowd that spills onto the plateia. Weeknights it's quieter, the vinyl audible.
A social club, like every bar should be.
The bar stays open until 1am Sunday to Thursday and 2am on weekends. It is the kind of place people come for one drink and stay for four, which is essentially the point.
