"Barely a hotel at all in the traditional sense of the word."
The building on Adrianou 77 has been standing since the early 19th century. Back then, the ground floor was stables — carriages and horses were the only way around. Now it is a boutique, with the entrance to the suites above. Blue shutters, high ceilings, gypsum cornices, marble floors. Twelve suites across three floors, each with a neutral palette and a walk-in rain shower. The Iconic Suite has a private terrace, a Jacuzzi, and a direct view of the Acropolis.
Breakfast is brought to the room, at whatever time you choose. There is no restaurant, no lobby bar, no pool. What there is: a listed neoclassical building, attentive staff who know the neighbourhood, and five minutes on foot to the Parthenon.
